Site Upgrades
Hello everyone!
I've just moved the whole site to a brand new platform "Drupal"!
All user accounts should have come across to the new platform, along with all of the old pages, forums, topics and comments. The new site isn't themed quite as nicely yet, but it should run a bit faster and has bags more functionality for us as we move forward.
Recent Downtime
Apologies to everyone about the downtime on the forum recently,
This was entirely my fault as I removed 8000 spammers. I accidentally removed the anonymous user too, so if you weren't logged in via cookies you wouldn't have been able to see any of the board!
Problem fixed, and more features coming to the site soon!
Thanks,
Rob
Site Updates
Camorr.com is approaching it's birthday!
Whilst news on the Gentlemen Bastard series has been slow going, we're proud to say our community has stuck around and been following what trickle there is with a voracious tenacity.
As a thank you, I'm looking at upgrading the website in a few ways and wanted to hear exactly what you our community want.
Republic Of Thieves Publish Date
It's been announced that, despite our finger-crossing and fervent hoping, Scott's upcoming novel The Republic Of Thieves has been pushed back to 03/06/2010.
Gollancz has recently released a catalogue claiming it will be out in November, but I'd rubbish that claim. It said RoT would be out last summer, but obviously that didn't happen. Catalogues aren't always right, and considering the manuscript still hasn't been turned in, I'd go with what many websites are saying, which is the 2010 date.
It's disappointing, but hardly surprising.
Mr Lynch Confirmed Alive and Well!
Just as we felt perhaps the bondsmagi had imprisoned our favourtie author, SL has put out a blog post over at his live journal blog. Not much about the books unfortunatly, but an interesting discourse into US politics.
Upgrading Site!
The Main Site
Hello Scott Lynch fans!
As you can see I'm currently working on a "proper" site to accompany our forums. We have a dedicated group of followers of both Scott, and fantasy fiction at large, talking about The Gentleman Bastard sequence and more. I'm elated the forum is still active, and it's a tribute to the quality of Scott's writing that so many people are getting onboard and joining the chinwag.
I'm hoping the main site will become a repositry for all things Lynch! I'd like to get some fanfic, artwork, reviews, news, reference material and so much more on here!
