No. Maybe you're thinking of when he says he's been pretending she doesn't exist? And the Thiefmaker said she drowned in the excerpt from Republic of Thieves, but that can't be true.

The way they talk about her makes her sound like she's dead, but she isn't because she's in the third book! The twins say she's living in Parlay (or somewhere) in Lies.
