Release Date

clairebearxo — Mon, 03/21/2011 - 21:54

So, I went to Coles with my sister on Saturday. Like I do at every book store I go to, I checked its catalogue for TRoT, just to see whether or not the date had changed. It had. It used to be that it was going to be released in November of 2011, but now the date has been pushed back once again to January 10, 2012. Is this the same everywhere else? If so, come cry with me.

It wouldn't be the end of the world if it was. If you order it from a merchant on Amazon.ca, you'd likely be getting it from the States, anyway. :)

RoT has returned to Orion's website and the date now says June 2012 - fingers crossed, once again!

Locke would appreciate it.

weesaw — Fri, 01/13/2012 - 18:58

just a heads up that gollancz just announced that as they still haven't received the finished manuscript from scott, the tentative release date has been pushed back to fall 2012. i'm gad they're being so supportive of him, and that all of the fan reactions i've read have been so supportive as well. i hope he's doing well and that 2012 works out better for him.

Wow a proof copy must mean

Sabetha — Sun, 02/12/2012 - 22:24

Wow a proof copy must mean the manuscript has been handed in, right? Which is weird cause gollanz has been saying it hasn't. It's so frustrating being left in the dark! Also... I wish I had a proof copy. I would sell at least one limb for it, I think.
