Republic of Thieves Preview?

I saw that Red Seas Under Red Skies just came out in paperback, however, I did not see a preview chapter or the next book at the end of the paperback.

The copy of Lies of Locke Lamora in paperback has a preview of RSURS.

Does anyone know if we will end up seeing a preview chapter of Republic of Thieves before it is released?

I'm guessing that's because Scott hasn't finished TROT yet. I think - think - Scott had finished RSURS by the time the paperback of Lies was out. Or had at least finalised the original manuscript. *sigh* I long for a preview!! He used to posts snippets on his blog but alas he has been absent for months now... In my opinion, he's under a lot of pressure at the moment, especially with RSURS not being as well received as Lies.
