Superb cover!!!!

And if there's a cover, I'm now more confident that the book will be published as scheduled. :D

Well this is quite good news for a Monday morning! To be honest, i really didn't think that the book would be out this year, this in one occasion i am glad to be completely wrong. I haven't been to Scott's page yet, has he got anything up on it yet?

I believe that Amazon.com has it listed with a february 2009 release. Earlier than I thought, but still months away.

Scott Lynch has a livejournal on his web page, but he has not updated it in months.

Sabetha — Tue, 08/26/2008 - 21:38

I have a theory that, in the cover art, Sabetha's climbed the roof to look at Locke for the first time in years. At first, I thought she was looking down at the harbour, but now I think she's looking through the window in the right hand corner. Over speculation maybe, but my imagination has a way of over speculating everything ;)

Another thing: what's with the mask? If sabetha's his One True Love I would've thought he'd recognise her with or wthout the mask. I mean... the red hair is a bit of a give-away, right? Though it would be nice to have a Lynch-style OTT take off the mask omg-it's-sabetha! kinda thing. :D

I like the fact she's on a rooftop too, especially considering the handful of references concerning Sabetha's love for climbing. <3

I love this cover! Exactly like I had pictured Sabetha... somehow I always imagined her with a mask, mysterious and all. My theory is that this is the part where Locke en Jean leave Camorr after the dead of the Grey King. Sabetha was in the city but didn't want to reveal herself...
