The Dark Knight

Icarus — Tue, 07/15/2008 - 01:57

I'm going to see this on Saturday afternoon.

I'm curious what people think of it once they have seen it.

My hubby wants to go see this, i'm not so keen.
I'm not really into superhero kind of stuff.

I'm curious about Heath Ledger's last performance, and I've heard his Joker is riveting.

All the reviews that I have read say that Heath Ledger's Joker is the reason to see this movie.

I went to see this on Saturday, and I have to say I was a little dissapointed.

There was A LOT going on in this film. Lots of characters, lots of plots, lots of action that was kind of hard to follow.

The first film had a much more, in my opinion, linear story. This one was all over the place with multiple stories that required a lot of suspension of disbelief.

I'm not sure about this forum's spoiler policy, so I won't be specific. My wife and I spent an hour at lunch after the movie discussing how we could have "fixed" it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the movie did well financially, but I'm not sure where these "best movie ever" reviews are coming from.
